Staff Grade & Senior Psychologist (Clinical or Educational)
Elite Talent Hub is a specialist in permanent staffing solutions for clients both nationally and internationally. We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading voluntary organisation providing services and therapeutic interventions to children with disabilities in the Limerick region, who wish to recruit both a Staff Grade Psychologist and a Senior Psychologist to join their well-established Children's Disability Network Team. Both roles are open to applicants from a Clinical Psychology or an Educational Psychology background, working with children and young people (0–18 years) with a range of physical, sensory, intellectual and autism spectrum disability needs.

Staff Grade Psychologist (Clinical or Educational)
Location: Limerick | Salary: €63,222 – €104,951 DOE | Permanent, Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and organise individual and group caseloads, including assessment, intervention and diagnosis
- Provide a psychology service in line with team service plans, objectives and best-practice guidelines
- Support clinical and educational psychology trainees as requested
- Maintain client records in line with data protection legislation and best-practice guidelines
- Work in partnership with children, families and carers within a Family-Centred Practice model
- Contribute fully as a member of an interdisciplinary team, attending clinical and service meetings
- Participate in ongoing professional development in line with PSI/CORU requirements
Essential Requirements:
- Recognised university degree/diploma (QQI Level 8 equivalent, 1st or 2nd class honours) with Psychology as a major subject
- Recognised postgraduate professional qualification in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology (or an equivalent qualification validated by the Department of Health)
- Minimum 60 days (or equivalent) supervised clinical placement, or post-qualification supervised work experience, in disability settings (child and/or adult)
- Registered, or eligible for registration, with PSI and/or CORU
- Clear understanding of the role of the Psychologist in the field of disability (0–18 years)
- Excellent report writing, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary team
- Full clean driving licence and use of a car
Desirable:
- Experience in the completion of Developmental and Cognitive Assessments
- Training or experience completing assessments using the ADOS and ADI-R
- Experience completing Team Assessments / Assessments of Need
- Experience in the delivery of parent training programmes or group workshops
Senior Psychologist (Clinical or Educational)
Location: Limerick | Salary: €100,483 – €114,536 DOE | Permanent, Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and organise individual and group caseloads, including assessment, intervention and diagnosis
- Provide a psychology service in line with team service plans, objectives, established guidelines and policy
- Supervise and support Staff Grade Psychologists, and clinical and educational psychology trainees, as delegated
- Provide professional consultation, education, guidance and support to colleagues as appropriate
- Take responsibility for service delivery targets, monitoring, recording and reporting performance outcomes
- Maintain client records in line with data protection legislation and best-practice guidelines
- Work in partnership with children, families and carers within a Family-Centred Practice model
- Contribute to service planning and demonstrate awareness of value-for-money and budget accountability
- Participate in ongoing professional development in line with PSI/CORU requirements
Essential Requirements:
- Recognised university degree/diploma (QQI Level 8 equivalent, 1st or 2nd class honours) with Psychology as a major subject
- Recognised postgraduate professional qualification in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology (or an equivalent qualification validated by the Department of Health)
- Minimum five years' satisfactory post-graduate experience in professional psychology (no more than three years of which in gaining the postgraduate qualification, and no less than two years full-time post-qualification experience)
- Minimum 60 days (or equivalent) supervised clinical placement, or post-qualification supervised work experience, in disability settings (child and/or adult)
- Registered, or eligible for registration, with PSI and/or CORU
- Previous experience working with children with a range of disabilities, including physical, sensory, intellectual and autism spectrum disorder
- Excellent report writing, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of, and provide leadership within, an interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary team
- Full clean driving licence and use of a car
Desirable:
- Experience in the completion of diagnostic assessments, including training completing assessments using the ADOS and ADI-R
- Experience completing Team Assessments / Assessments of Need
- Experience in the delivery of parent training programmes and group workshops/training
- Prior experience supervising or mentoring junior psychologists or trainees
