My client is a progressive, design-led engineering consultancy with a strong presence across Ireland and internationally. Known for delivering high-performance, sustainable building services solutions, they are continuing to grow their Limerick team due to a strong pipeline of commercial, residential, healthcare and mixed-use projects.This is a senior position within the mechanical design team, offering the opportunity to take full ownership of projects from concept through to completion.
You will:
- Lead mechanical design across a range of high-spec projects
- Manage project delivery, ensuring quality, programme and commercial targets are met
- Mentor and support junior engineers within the team
- Liaise directly with clients, design teams and stakeholders
- Oversee design outputs including HVAC, LTHW, public health and BMS systems
- Ensure full compliance with Irish building regulations and industry standards
What They’re Looking For
- Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
- 6+ years’ consultancy design experience
- Strong track record delivering full-cycle mechanical design
- Experience across commercial and/or residential projects
- BIM and energy modelling experience advantageous
- Strong leadership and communication skills
