My client, a well-established main contractor with a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality projects across Ireland, is currently seeking a Site Engineer to join their growing team in Dublin.

Working across commercial, industrial and educational developments, this is an excellent opportunity to join a contractor with a strong pipeline of work and a collaborative, well-structured site team.

You will gain exposure across all stages of project delivery while working in a BIM-enabled environment alongside experienced professionals.

As Site Engineer, you will support the delivery of projects on-site, ensuring works are carried out in line with programme, quality and safety standards.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reporting to the Senior Engineer and supporting site management team
  • Setting out and surveying works on site
  • Ensuring all works are delivered in line with specifications and drawings
  • Managing technical information flow including RFIs and submittals
  • Coordinating with subcontractors and site teams
  • Monitoring quality standards and maintaining accurate site records
  • Supporting the Site Manager with daily site operations
  • Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained at all times

 

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience with a main contractor (commercial experience desirable)
  • Strong setting out and surveying experience
  • Good understanding of Irish building regulations and construction drawings
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced site environment
  • Safepass and Manual Handling required
