My client, a well-established main contractor with a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality projects across Ireland, is currently seeking a Site Engineer to join their growing team in Dublin.
Working across commercial, industrial and educational developments, this is an excellent opportunity to join a contractor with a strong pipeline of work and a collaborative, well-structured site team.
You will gain exposure across all stages of project delivery while working in a BIM-enabled environment alongside experienced professionals.
As Site Engineer, you will support the delivery of projects on-site, ensuring works are carried out in line with programme, quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reporting to the Senior Engineer and supporting site management team
- Setting out and surveying works on site
- Ensuring all works are delivered in line with specifications and drawings
- Managing technical information flow including RFIs and submittals
- Coordinating with subcontractors and site teams
- Monitoring quality standards and maintaining accurate site records
- Supporting the Site Manager with daily site operations
- Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained at all times
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience with a main contractor (commercial experience desirable)
- Strong setting out and surveying experience
- Good understanding of Irish building regulations and construction drawings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced site environment
- Safepass and Manual Handling required
