Dermot Doherty brings a wealth of experience to Elite Talent Hub. He originally qualified as an Electrician with ESB Networks working on MV/HV Electrical underground services out of South Lotts Rd, Dublin. Dermot went on to graduate with a BSc in Medical Device Innovation, which led to a 7 years tenure with Employers Representative body Ibec, working as a Senior Executive with Irish and multinational medical device and food manufacturers.
In 2020, Dermot combined his technical and client services experience to work in recruitment. Dermot led out on recruitment strategies for clients in the engineering sector which encompassed projects in renewables, infrastructure, civils and construction sectors.
His expertise lie across mechanical, electrical, civil and process engineering codes and prides himself on a technically led approach, working in close collaboration with his clients.
Dermot is a keen sports fan and enjoys an active lifestyle. He can often be found in the gym, practicing yoga or out walking in nature. He is also an avid music fan and has been known to play a song or two on the guitar.
