Position: Civil Site Supervisor
Location: Onsite – Midlands Region. Initial project in Westmeath
Job description
The Civil Site Supervisor will be responsible for the monitoring and coordination of daily activities and ensuring compliance with the relevant specifications to deliver large scale Renewable Energy Infrastructure Projects. The Site Supervisor will report directly to the Project Manager.
This role will provide exposure to a wide range of expertise relating to the renewable energy and construction sectors. The successful candidate will be supported in developing their knowledge on a pathway to becoming a Chartered Engineer as their knowledge and responsibilities grow and evolve.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for monitoring and coordinating daily activities of site personnel and subcontractors
- Performing quality audits on a regular basis to ensure quality is being met and specifications are adhered to
- Engaging with subcontractors on technical queries and reporting to the Project Manager
- Document control
- Management of site materials and ensuring site welfare is maintained
- Liaising with HSE coordinator to ensure all HSSE requirements are being adhered to
Skills and Requirements
- Honours Degree Qualification in relevant Engineering discipline
- Experience in HV/MV Substation projects an advantage
- Being able to work within a team and have good interpersonal skills
- Good report writing and presentation skills
- IT literate with the ability to operate MS office systems and other IT based project management software
- Willingness to travel to other sites when required
- Appetite to learn and develop in a growing industry in Ireland
- Full driver's license required
