Our client is expanding and is on the lookout for a seasoned Mechanical Contracts Manager to join their Dublin team. The chosen candidate will play a key role in the successful delivery and stakeholder management of a significant project located in South Dublin.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage project budgets and costs effectively.
- Lead project teams to ensure timely and on-budget completion of contracts.
- Work closely with stakeholders to meet all project requirements.
- Evaluate subcontractor work for quality assurance.
- Ensure compliance with current Health & Safety standards.
- Assist the project Surveyor in tracking and reporting contract costs and variations to the Construction Director.
- Identify and mitigate risks, working with design teams to ensure deadlines are met.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure precision in planning and scheduling tasks.
- Develop and manage project schedules, coordinating resources as required.
- Monitor material procurement schedules to align with project timelines.
Role Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
- Preferably 10+ years of experience in Construction or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects successfully.
- Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Strong experience in stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly driven with strong leadership and motivational capabilities.
