Our client is currently hiring a Credit Controller for their Bluebell, Dublin branch to oversee the day-to-day operations of the credit control process. The position will also involve general administrative responsibilities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow up with customers regarding outstanding payments until balances are cleared.
  • Reconcile transactions through BACS payments.
  • Coordinate with sales representatives when accounts exceed agreed credit terms or become overdue.
  • Participate in weekly credit review sessions with management and sales staff.
  • Prepare and analyse regular financial and credit-related reports.
  • Process applications for new customer accounts, including credit checks and trade references.
  • Handle and issue credit notes for pricing discrepancies.
  • Work with internal departments to resolve any billing or payment-related concerns.
  • Prepare documentation for small claims proceedings.
  • Carry out administrative tasks relevant to the credit control area.
  • Assist with other duties required to support credit operations in a dynamic branch environment.

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • A minimum of two years' experience in a credit control or similar financial role.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with accounting software.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and work autonomously.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
