Elite Talent Hub Ltd is a specialist provider of permanent staffing solutions, partnering with leading engineering and construction organisations globally.
We are currently working in partnership with a well-established and growing engineering services contractor to appoint a Mechanical Project Engineer for their Dublin operations. The organisation delivers high-spec mechanical solutions across complex construction environments, including technically demanding projects, and offers clear progression for engineers looking to develop their careers.
This role reports directly into senior management and will support the delivery of mechanical systems across live projects, from design coordination through installation and client handover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analysis of design documentation, ensuring accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project requirements
- Coordinate the execution of mechanical systems in line with quality assurance plans and benchmark standards
- Collaborate with design and procurement teams to review technical drawings and evaluate supplier packages for alignment with project specifications
- Prepare technical documentation and manage submittals, RFIs, and related project records
- Liaise with on-site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to maintain alignment with schedules and scope of works
- Monitor procurement progress and assist in ensuring timely delivery of equipment and materials
- Support quality and compliance inspections in line with regulatory standards and project-specific plans
Key Skills & Experience:
- Degree (Level 7/8) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a comparable role within the engineering or construction sector
- Strong working knowledge of technical tools and platforms, including AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office
- Proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent communication skills and a team-focused approach
- Confident working independently while maintaining a high standard of documentation and reporting
- Eligibility to work in Ireland without sponsorship is essential
