Position: Mechanical Quantity Surveyor

Location: Cork

 

Job Description

Due to continued expansion, our client requires a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor for projects based in Cork, Ireland. The successful candidate will work as part of the Process Division Quantity Surveying Team reporting directly to the Commercial Manager and board of directors.

 

Skills and Requirements

  • Relevant third level qualification essential – Quantity Surveying / Engineering.
  • Experience working within the Life Sciences sector would be advantageous.
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience post qualification in a Mechanical contracting environment.
  • Strong technical ability and understanding Mechanical services essential.
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi-functional team.
  • Excellent Analytical & IT Skills essential.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills essential
  • Experience in management of suppliers and sub-contractors.
  • Salary will be in line with qualifications and experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under strict deadlines is essential.
  • Good understanding of construction contracts & methods of measurement.
  • Facility to gain chartership status available in-house.
