Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Medical Insurance Manager to oversee all aspects of medical insurance operations within our hospital. The ideal candidate will manage insurance contracts, ensure regulatory compliance, coordinate with insurance providers, and streamline claims processing to support financial efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and evaluate insurance policies and contracts with medical insurance providers.
- Supervise the insurance billing and claims process, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Monitor insurance reimbursements and address denials or discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi healthcare regulations and insurance policies.
- Act as the primary liaison between the hospital and third-party insurance companies.
- Analyze data to optimize insurance performance and cost-efficiency.
- Train and manage insurance department staff on procedures and policy updates.
- Handle patient queries and concerns related to insurance coverage and claims.
- Stay updated with healthcare insurance legislation and market practices.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare insurance management or medical billing.
- In-depth knowledge of Saudi insurance policies, regulatory frameworks, and billing systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in insurance claims software and hospital ERP systems.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a hospital or large medical center setting.
- Certification in Medical Coding or Revenue Cycle Management is a plus.
