Our client is a premier builders' merchant in Ireland, offering a wide range of building materials, plumbing products, and DIY supplies. With a strong nationwide presence, they serve both professional tradespeople and DIY customers, providing top-tier products and expert service. They are now seeking a Plumbing & Heating Internal Sales to be based in Glasnevin.
Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional customer service at the trade counter, ensuring high standards are maintained.
Assist customers with product selection, offering guidance on features and benefits.
Handle cash and operate the company’s stock management system.
Support the Shop Manager in merchandising and ensuring a clean and safe environment.
Communicate with suppliers to coordinate product sourcing and delivery.
Provide support to both the Internal and External Sales Teams.
Requirements
Knowledge of plumbing and heating products with a willingness to expand expertise.
Previous experience in a retail or customer service role within the construction sector is essential.
Strong teamwork, organizational, and communication skills.
Comfortable using IT systems and computer software.
Dependable and punctual.
Experience working on a trade counter is a plus.
