Position: Project Manager
Location: Dubai, UAE.
Job Description
As a Project Manager, you will be pivotal to the development and completion of projects including the organisation, scheduling, and implementation. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts to successfully deliver cutting edge projects. Our clients current requirement allows for a full-time position based at the Company’s project in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Delivery
Deliver capital projects safely, on budget, and on schedule.
Plan, execute, and track project progress from inception to handover.
Ensure adherence to client standards and key deliverables.
Project Management
Establish and achieve project objectives and timelines.
Develop robust plans and strategies for managing the project lifecycle.
Communicate project issues to the team and implement timely solutions.
Provide direction and vision to the project team.
Resource and link the right skill sets for projects.
Build effective communication between the team, clients, and stakeholders.
Client and Stakeholder Management
Act as the main point of contact for all client queries.
Maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Propose options and effectively communicate with management, clients, and stakeholders.
Quality and Compliance
Ensure adherence to client’s quality and engineering standards.
Uphold the highest levels of quality in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Monitor compliance with applicable practices, policies, and specifications.
Perform overall quality control of work, including budget, schedule, plans, and personnel performance.
Ensure project EH&S and quality requirements are met (e.g., drafting RAMS, reviewing H&S plans, quality plans).
Ensure all testing and commissioning is completed.
Provide clients with walkthroughs of completed projects and handover documents.
Reporting and Documentation
Report to management on project schedule and cost issues.
Maintain all commercial registers and manage subcontractor accounts.
Provide regular updates to the Commercial Manager on progress versus budget targets.
Agree on variations with clients and liaise with QS for costing.
Procurement and Resourcing
Liaise with the Purchasing Manager to meet all project procurement needs.
Assign site personnel to projects and manage resourcing plans.
Continuous Improvement
Maintain awareness of new regulations and complete required training.
Stay updated with industry innovations and new products.
Attend supplier presentations as needed.
Skills and Experience
3-5 years of project experience.
Academically qualified (Degree) and/or relevant industry experience.
Commercial knowledge and ability to estimate.
Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to motivate and lead a team.
Proficiency in IT skills.
