Our Client are a large scale construction company based in Dublin. They have a number of high-profile projects in Dublin currently. AS a result they are now on the lookout for an experienced Project Manager with experience in construction projects.
As a Project Manager, you will oversee projects from initial planning to final delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Contracts Manager to develop and maintain the master construction schedule, ensuring project milestones are met.
- Assess and allocate project staff resources effectively, maintaining clear communication within your team.
- Implement and uphold our Client’s Safety System, fostering a robust safety culture throughout the project.
- Oversee project quality from start to finish, ensuring the build meets all quality standards.
- Manage project costs meticulously, controlling preliminaries and packages tightly.
- Partner with the commercial team to achieve the project’s financial goals.
- Maintain strong client relationships through precise project controls and regular reporting, addressing operational and commercial risks, delays, and potential claims.
Candidate Profile:
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in construction, particularly in structural and civil building work.
- Proven track record of planning and delivering complex projects.
- Strong numerical and report writing abilities.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with stakeholders.
- Commercially savvy with a knack for proposing cost-effective solutions.
- Proficient in MS Office, project scheduling software, and CDEs like Procore or BIM 360.
