Our Client, a leading Irish M&E Contractor with an expanding pipeline of projects in Europe are now on the lookout for a supervisor with experience in the management and installation of Fire Sprinkler Systems in Gavle, Sweden.
The successful candidate will receive a tax free living away from home allowance alongside paid accommodation and transport.
Position Overview
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols.
- Evaluate tasks for potential hazards and verify adherence to safe work practices.
- Conduct routine workplace and equipment inspections, implementing corrective measures as necessary.
- Provide top-tier training for all employees.
- Implement necessary measures to manage and mitigate hazards.
- Continuously oversee the hazard reporting mechanism.
- Maintain welfare facilities to a high standard.
- Engage with team members regarding health and safety, ensuring awareness of the safety statement.
- Remove any faulty equipment from service.
- Notify the Plant Manager promptly about any defective vehicles or equipment for swift repair or replacement.
- Adhere to all Irish Sprinkler Safety and Installation guidelines consistently.
- Oversee and coordinate the workforce to meet construction deadlines.
- Submit daily reports to the ISFP Site Manager.
- Maintain high safety standards within the workforce.
- Conduct material inventory checks and inform the ISFP site manager of any requirements.
- Report any on-site delays to the site manager.
- Perform daily quality checks to ensure a snag-free project.
- Participate in all White Board and DAB’s meetings.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
- Strong knowledge of sprinkler systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in the construction industry.
- IT skills are a plus but not mandatory.
