Quality Manager

Role Overview
Elite Talent Hub is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the Quality Team at our Shannon clients site, reporting directly to the General Manager. This role is responsible for upholding the business's quality standards, meeting all contractual obligations, and ensuring the sites quality management system (QMS) enables the achievement of quality goals. The Quality Manager will drive continuous improvement by setting quality objectives and overseeing processes to maintain high standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

Quality Management

  • Establish and track quality objectives aligned with company goals and customer expectations.
  • Create quality plans that meet internal standards and customer-specific requirements for products and processes.

 

Customer Focus and Feedback

  • Serve as the main contact for customer quality concerns, ensuring effective communication and resolution.
  • Manage customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Use customer feedback to guide quality initiatives, collaborating with clients to address evolving needs.

 

Quality Control and Assurance

  • Oversee manufacturing processes, ensuring adherence to internal and customer-specific standards.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards, such as ISO 9001, and address specific customer requirements.

 

Documentation and Records Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation, including quality manuals, procedures, inspection records, and corrective actions.
  • Prepare for internal and external audits, ensuring documentation is in line with regulatory and company standards.
  • Collaborate with Production to ensure training documentation is current and compliant.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Science, Quality, or Engineering (Level 8 preferred).
  • 8+ years in manufacturing, including 3+ years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Strong background in Quality Engineering, Assurance, and Systems.
  • Proficiency in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience leading audits and acting as the quality lead on-site.
  • Proven record in cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage complex quality issues.
