We are looking for a driven Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team on live construction projects for our client in the Limerick region.
This role involves ensuring compliance with internal safety procedures and national regulations while promoting a proactive safety culture on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage budgets, cost plans, and financial forecasts for projects.
- Coordinate procurement activities, ensuring value for money and quality outcomes.
- Prepare and review progress valuations, variations, and claims.
- Produce accurate financial reports, including cost analysis, cash flow projections, and performance updates.
- Identify risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and support effective risk management.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and manage associated documentation.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to support successful project delivery.
- Provide guidance to junior colleagues and contribute to knowledge sharing within the organisation.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a cost management or surveying role.
- Solid understanding of project costing, procurement, and contract administration.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, cost control, and commercial management.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
