Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic team in Charleville, Co. Cork. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across Ireland.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead the Quantity Surveying function across multiple projects.
- Provide accurate cost estimates, cost plans, and cash flow projections.
- Manage tendering, contracts, and project costs.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and design teams.
- Mentor junior QS team members.
Key Requirements:
- 10+ years' experience (chartered or working towards chartership).
- Previous experience in a consultancy/project management environment.
- Strong expertise in cost estimation, contract management, and BOQs (ARM4/5 & SOR).
- Proficiency in Cubit, Cost X, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent budgeting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of BCAR compliance and construction methodologies.
- Full legal right to work in Ireland and a valid Irish driver’s license.
