About The Role:

  • The role of Technical Trainer is an instrumental position in the business responsible for ensuring our Engineers are trained to the highest standards. The role requires an industry leader accustomed to driving project installation training programmes, delivering advanced troubleshooting and maintenance solutions to our technical teams while continuously driving system performance for our customers.
  • The role will support our state-of-the art training facility in Dublin in a Hybrid Capacity. The position requires a hands-on expert accustomed to full working knowledge of advanced Lithography systems covering the following tool sets; Lithius ProAp, Lithius ProZ, Lithius, ACT12 and ACT 8, in addition to advanced coating / systems, Robotics, spin, advanced heating and both liquid chemical & gas systems.
  • The Trainer is expected to deliver the Instructional programme design model the foundation of which will support the training curriculum in the business. This role will hold responsibility for preparing new and existing personnel for learning while tracking and reporting on individual progress in addition to providing continuous feedback and improvement to the curriculum.
  • The role holder will hold full responsibility for delivering performance-based equipment training modules to a diverse group of engineers and technicians.
  • The successful candidate will work in a hybrid capacity between site and our new modern training facility in Co. Dublin.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

As the customer based is diverse, applicants should be customer focused and comfortable to work within a dynamic environment. The positions require a high level of flexibility and may involve international travel from time to time. Successful candidates should ideally have gained experience on either Clean Track or Etch tools but will receive full training as required to fulfil the role.

  • Delivery of onsite and remote training for internal and external customers at all levels of competency.
  • Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the development and delivery of instructional development plans.
  • Examples of training to be covered include, but are not limited to: EUV Source Vessel, DUV – kRF, aRF and other training as required.
  • Uses vetted technical procedures as designed to suit tool & system configuration training needs.
  • Uses knowledge and performance testing and other evaluation methods to measure trainee progress and effectiveness of training.
  • Implements a process of continuous improvement to the curriculum based on trainee and manger feedback.
  • Develops and shares KPI’s in relation to trainee progress during training periods.
  • Represents department as an advanced Lithography systems training expert covering the following tool sets; Lithius ProAp, Lithius ProZ, Lithius, ACT12 and ACT 8.
  • Participates in needs analysis to determine training needs.
  • Supports design of new product training; determines and adopts training delivery methods to improve effectiveness as required.
  • Develops instructor led and computer-based training lessons.
  • Selects or develops teaching aids, manipulates graphics and video to support training needs.
  • Reviews and revises released product training for technical accuracy and relevance to install requirements.
  • Prepares storyboards and screen captures to accurately reflect intuitive training steps.
  • Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on training equipment and tools.
  • The positions requires a high level of flexibility as this position will operate in a hybrid engineering capacity.
  • Accustomed to working collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Must be able to support shift work as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Successful candidate will ideally process a degree in Technology, Engineering or Physics.
  • Training accreditation in work force education, technical field and/or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of six (6) year’s experience in technical training / L3 semi-conductor role.
  • Proficient in robotics, electronic, electrical, gas and/or mechanical engineering systems theory.
  • Capable of operating and maintaining electronic, optical and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to utilize standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators and power meters.
  • Ability to deliver clear and effective technical instruction to a broad audience.
  • Ability to read, interpret and adhere to engineering specifications, technical procedures and other pertinent engineering documents.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking.
  • Intermediate to advanced level arithmetic in the compilation and analysis of basic quantitative information.

  • Ability to translate, statistically analyse data, and effectively report problems through spoken, written and/or graphical formats.
  • Demonstrated ability to create story boards that reflect incremental information transfer.
  • Proficient use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and electronic e-mail systems and data analytics.
  • Must be able to work in a complex, fast paced, highly dynamic, collaborative and flexible environment.
  • Must be accustomed to working with a range of dynamic and cross-functional technical teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to determine and effectively report on trainee performance.

Location: This role will be in a hybrid capacity between site and our clients new modern training facility in North Co. Dublin. It will be ideally suited to someone located within 1 hours commute of our client’s facility.
