Trade Counter Assistant – Kilbarrack

 

Our client is seeking a Trade Counter Assistant for their Kilbarrack location, pivotal in delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves customer interaction both at the counter and over the phone, focusing on maximizing sales opportunities. Joining our clients branch team presents an excellent opportunity for professional growth within our industry.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Providing outstanding customer service at our busy Trade Counter, adhering to high company standards.
  • Assisting customers in selecting products, detailing their benefits and technical features.
  • Handling cash transactions and utilizing our internal stock system.
  • Supporting the Shop Manager in maintaining merchandising standards and shop cleanliness.
  • Maintaining effective communication with suppliers for product sourcing and delivery.
  • Assisting both Internal and External Sales Teams as needed.

 

Key Criteria:

  • Essential previous experience in delivering excellent customer service within a retail setting.
  • Strong teamwork and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in IT with good computer literacy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Knowledge of building materials/products preferred or willingness to learn.
  • Previous experience working on a Trade Counter is advantageous.
