My client, a leading engineering contractor delivering major projects across sectors such as data centres, pharmaceuticals and power infrastructure, is seeking an experienced MV Specialist Electrical Engineer to join their team in Dublin.
This role will focus on the design, coordination and delivery of medium voltage (MV) electrical systems across large-scale construction projects. The successful candidate will work closely with project, design and commissioning teams to ensure MV systems are delivered from design through installation and handover.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on large, technically complex projects while taking ownership of MV system design and delivery within a growing engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate MV system engineering activities across one or multiple projects.

Manage technical submittals, procurement tracking and system documentation.

Work closely with design, BIM and construction teams to ensure systems are fully constructible.

Support testing, commissioning and final system handover.

Carry out power system studies and modelling using tools such as ETAP, PSCAD or DIgSILENT.

Review MV equipment, cables, switchgear and protection systems to ensure compliance with IEC/IEEE standards.
Requirements:

Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

Strong experience working with Medium Voltage (MV) electrical systems.

Experience in power system modelling and studies.

Background delivering electrical packages on large construction or infrastructure projects.

Strong communication and technical coordination skills.
