Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Electrician, Electrical Foreman to join the team. Responsibilities include supervising and coordinating the work of electricians and technicians, ensuring the successful completion of electrical projects within specified deadlines and budgetary constraints. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of electricians and technicians on site.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installations and repairs.
- Allocate tasks and resources efficiently to meet project deadlines and budgetary constraints.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members, assisting with complex installations and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Address any technical issues or concerns raised by team members, providing timely solutions and support.
- Mentor and train junior electricians and apprentices to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Participate in meetings and discussions to review project plans, progress, and objectives.
Qualifications:
Trade Qualified
- Proven experience working as an electrician or electrical supervisor in a similar role.
- Thorough knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Strong leadership and management abilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Proficiency in using electrical tools, equipment, and testing devices.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
