Due to continued growth, my client, a well-established civil engineering contractor, is seeking an experienced Foreman to join their Dublin-based operations. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering major civil engineering and infrastructure projects across Ireland.
As Foreman, you will oversee the day-to-day running of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure smooth project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise site teams, trades and subcontractors to ensure works are carried out safely and to specification

Coordinate daily site activities with project managers, engineers and planners

Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations
-
Enforce health and safety procedures and conduct regular risk assessments

Manage materials, tools and equipment efficiently on site
-
Identify and resolve site issues quickly to minimise delays
Requirements:
-
5+ years’ experience as a Foreman on large-scale civil engineering projects in Ireland or the UK
-
Strong knowledge of civil engineering construction methods and materials
-
Excellent leadership and communication skills
-
Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications
-
Strong understanding of Irish health & safety regulations
-
Full clean Irish driving licence

Fluent English
