Gas Engineer

For this role, our client will only consider candidates residing in Cork or Kerry

The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure customer safety and compliance in all gas installations.
• Organize and meet specific onsite requirements for customers promptly and courteously.
• Maintain and service boilers in residential and commercial settings.
• Conduct reactive maintenance for domestic, commercial, and industrial properties.
• Service, repair, and inspect gas heating appliances and installations for safety.
• Perform responsive repairs, fault diagnosis, and scheduled services.
• Diagnose and repair gas appliance and system faults on the first visit.
• Communicate continuously and effectively with customers and the office.
• Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and compliance with codes.
• Adhere to all company building and maintenance standards.
• Prepare cost estimates for services and repairs.
• Respond to emergency situations and call-outs as needed, Monday to Friday.
• Travel between various sites and locations within the assigned region.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Must reside in Cork or Kerry
• RGI registered is highly desirable
• Fast learner and ability to work on own initiative
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience in a similar role servicing Gas Boilers and Gas Fired Heating Equipment
• Domestic or Commercial experience
• Full Clean Drivers Licence
• Excellent organisational skills
• Available for an immediate start
