We are recruiting Cable / Fiber Technicians for a well-established European communications and datacenter installation company, with projects based in Groningen, Netherlands.
Candidates must already live in the Groningen region.
No accommodation is provided.
Role Responsibilities
- Installation and dressing of Cat 5e / Cat 6 / Cat 6A copper cabling
- Installation and dressing of fibre optic cables
- Installation of racks and cabinets
- Termination, testing and patching of copper and fibre cables
- Labelling and working from drawings and schematics
- Working safely on active datacentre sites
- Working independently and as part of a team
Candidate Profile
- Experience is an advantage but NOT essential – training provided
- Interest in hands-on / technical work
- Basic understanding or interest in cabling or fibre installations
- Ability to follow drawings and instructions
- Safe use of hand and power tools
- Strong focus on Health & Safety
- Good communication skills
- Must be legally able to work in the Netherlands
- Basic English required
Advantageous (Not Essential)
- Full driving licence
- VCA certification
- Manual handling (can be provided in-house)
Package
- Permanent, full-time position
- Salary €37,000 – €45,000 per year (DOE)
- Monday to Friday (overtime available)
