Elite Talent Hub LTD is a specialist in permanent staffing solutions for clients nationwide.

Our Client is looking to recruit Specialist Engineers to work with its Semiconductor partners at INTEL Magdeberg Germany. You will spend a period of 24 months in Ireland to be trained on its state of the art, patented technology. Following completion of training you will be expected to locate to the new INTEL Magdeburg site German. You must have a European travel pass.

There is a very attractive salary, bonus and pension on offer to the successful candidates. Take home pay in the first year is 72K which includes a salary of 60K and 20% bonus paid in 2 instalments. There is also a significant pension contribution and a large relocation allowance when moving to Ireland for the training period. You will also be provided with high end accommodation and have free transport access to and from the training centre and adjacent semiconductor facilities.

You and your family will be given free accommodation for 3 months in Ireland next to the facility to help get you started. After the training period for 24 months you will be expected to transition to Magdeburg in Germany fulltime.

 

About the role

New positions have become available for Engineers supporting our clientsoperations in Germany. Successful candidates should ideally have gained experience on either Clean Track or Furnace tools but will receive full training as required to fulfil the role.

This position is open to EU Passport holders only as the role will require freedom of movement between EU states without the need for Visas.

  • A professional telephone manner, good level of interpersonal and self-presentation skills are pre-requisites.
  • In addition to the above the other requirements of the role are:
  • Taking personal ownership to maintain our incident and injury free environment.
  • Participating as part of a shift team to deliver world class performance on critical success indicators (Safety, Quality, Output & Equipment performance) in a highly automated wafer fabrication facility.
  • Scheduling & completing preventative maintenance tasks on advanced semiconductor processing equipment.
  • Using problem solving skills to troubleshoot & resolve unscheduled equipment & inline process issues.
  • Applying statistical process control techniques to monitor, maintain & improve process & equipment performance.
  • Commitment to travel on assignment for varying duration depending on business need.
  • This role is based on a monthly rotating shift pattern.

  • High level of attention to detail with demonstrated capability of following procedures closely.

Required Qualifications:

  • An ordinary degree in electrical engineering, mechatronic engineering, robotics engineering, electronic engineering, automation engineering or equivalent with 0-3 or more years of equipment experience or
  • A trade apprenticeship and qualification in electrical engineering or equivalent with 0-3 years of equipment experience

 

Advantageous Supplementary Skills

  • Vacuum furnace experience
  • Working in a cleanroom environment
  • Working knowledge of superconducting & large permanent magnets
  • Working handling cryogenic liquids
  • Experience of new equipment commissioning and customer sign-off processes, or plant commissioning
