Our client, a leading name in mechanical and process piping installations for the pharmaceutical and brewing sectors, is expanding. With a strong pipeline of upcoming work across the southeast, they’re now seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to support two major projects in Dublin/Lesinter Region.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive contractor that prioritises safety, career development, and technical excellence. The successful candidate will work closely with site and project teams, ensuring best-in-class health & safety standards are implemented and maintained on all live sites.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular site audits and inspections as required under the company’s Safety Management System and Irish legislation.

Maintain accurate records of statutory inspections and safety documentation.

Identify areas for improvement and report findings to the EHS Manager.

Lead incident and accident investigations and record outcomes in the Health & Safety Management System.

Deliver health & safety inductions for all new employees and subcontractors.

Oversee PPE requirements, ensuring all site teams are adequately equipped.

Represent the site in weekly H&S meetings, taking and circulating minutes.

Coordinate and lead contractor and subcontractor safety meetings.

Review and manage subcontractor safety documentation and method statements.

Support Site Management in drafting and delivering Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).

Maintain and communicate site-specific Emergency Response Plans.

Inspect and maintain safety equipment (e.g., fire extinguishers, first aid kits).

Collate and prepare the project Safety File for final handover.

Facilitate toolbox talks and assist in ISO audit compliance.

Liaise regularly with the main contractor and their site safety teams.
Key Requirements:

Recognised qualification in Occupational Health & Safety (e.g., Diploma, Degree, or equivalent).

Minimum 1 year of experience in a safety role, ideally with an M&E or construction contractor.

Experience on mechanical/process sites highly desirable.

Strong multi-tasking skills – ability to oversee multiple activities across two live sites.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Full clean Irish driver’s licence.
-
Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.
-
Valid right to work in Ireland (Critical Skills or Stamp 1G holders considered).

Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
