With a strong pipeline of upcoming work across the southeast, they’re now seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to support two major projects in Dublin/Lesinter Region.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive contractor that prioritises safety, career development, and technical excellence. The successful candidate will work closely with site and project teams, ensuring best-in-class health & safety standards are implemented and maintained on all live sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify areas for improvement and report findings to the EHS Manager.

  • Lead incident and accident investigations and record outcomes in the Health & Safety Management System.

  • Deliver health & safety inductions for all new employees and subcontractors.

  • Oversee PPE requirements, ensuring all site teams are adequately equipped.

  • Represent the site in weekly H&S meetings, taking and circulating minutes.

  • Coordinate and lead contractor and subcontractor safety meetings.

  • Review and manage subcontractor safety documentation and method statements.

  • Support Site Management in drafting and delivering Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).

  • Maintain and communicate site-specific Emergency Response Plans.

  • Inspect and maintain safety equipment (e.g., fire extinguishers, first aid kits).

  • Collate and prepare the project Safety File for final handover.

  • Facilitate toolbox talks and assist in ISO audit compliance.

  • Liaise regularly with the main contractor and their site safety teams.

Key Requirements:

  • Recognised qualification in Occupational Health & Safety (e.g., Diploma, Degree, or equivalent).

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a safety role, ideally with an M&E or construction contractor.

  • Experience on mechanical/process sites highly desirable.

  • Strong multi-tasking skills – ability to oversee multiple activities across two live sites.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Full clean Irish driver’s licence.

  • Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.

  • Valid right to work in Ireland (Critical Skills or Stamp 1G holders considered).

  • Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
