Position Overview
We are looking for a Junior Sales Consultant to join our team on a full-time basis. This role covers both inbound and outbound sales — responding to client inquiries, qualifying leads, preparing proposals, and managing prospecting activities.
It is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their sales career who is eager to learn, grow, and eventually take on a more senior sales management role.
Key Responsibilities
Inbound Sales & Client Management
● Respond promptly to inquiries via email, phone, and social media.
● Qualify leads and convert them into active clients through consultative selling.
● Prepare proposals, follow up on offers, and manage the early stages of the sales cycle.
● Ensure accurate documentation and follow-up of client interactions in the CRM.
Outbound Sales & Business Development
● Research and identify new business opportunities within target markets.
● Carry out outreach campaigns through LinkedIn, cold emails, and phone calls.
● Book consultations for senior consultants and support deal conversion.
● Track and report on pipeline development and outreach activity.
Sales Operations & Support
● Maintain accurate sales records and ensure CRM data is up to date.
● Contribute to sales reports and pipeline reviews.
● Collaborate with marketing and senior sales staff to align campaigns with lead generation goals.
● Step in to cover or support Sr Sales Consultant or Sales Manager responsibilities when needed.
Required Qualifications & Experience
● Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Law, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
● 1 year or more of experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles (internship or traineeship experience considered).
● Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking preferred.
● Experience with both inbound client communication and outbound prospecting (LinkedIn, calls, email).
Skills & Competencies
● Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
● Ability to manage multiple sales tasks, track progress, and meet deadlines.
● Basic understanding of sales funnels, lead qualification, and closing strategies.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; openness to learning new tools.
● Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage both warm leads and cold outreach effectively.
