About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Payroll Officer to manage and oversee payroll operations across multiple jurisdictions. The successful candidate will ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing for EU and international employees, while maintaining strong relationships with external advisors and internal stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing across multiple countries within the EU and other international regions.
  • Ensure compliance with local, EU, and global employment laws and tax regulations.
  • Liaise with external advisors and payroll providers to maintain accurate and compliant payroll practices.
  • Post wage journals and reconcile payroll entries within accounting systems.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and respond to internal payroll-related queries.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and implement best practices.
  • Stay informed on regulatory changes impacting payroll operations internationally.

 

Requirements

  • You must be allowed to work unrestricted in Ireland (EU Passport holders) or Stamp 4 Work Permit status
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant payroll operations experience, preferably in an international or multi-jurisdictional environment.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, employment regulations, and tax compliance across the EU and other global regions.
  • Proficiency in using payroll and accounting systems (experience with wage journal posting essential).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
