A well-established Design & Build contractor, operating for over 40 years, is continuing to grow and is now looking to appoint a Project Engineer to support the delivery of water and wastewater treatment projects across Ireland.
The role will sit within the project delivery team and will be involved across construction, commissioning and handover stages on both upgrade and new-build treatment plants.
This position is office-based in Limerick, with travel to sites nationwide as required.
The Role:

Support the Project Manager in the successful delivery of projects

Manage procurement activities to maintain programme and schedule

Coordinate and manage subcontractors on site

Prepare and maintain H&S documentation including Construction Stage plans, RAMS and site safety checks

Manage document control, including drawings, RFIs and technical information

Assist with progress reporting to the Client

Liaise with site delivery teams and design teams to resolve design queries

Carry out site surveying, setting out and quality assurance checks

Compile Operations & Maintenance manuals and safety files for project handover
Requirements:

Degree qualified (engineering or construction related)

Relevant project or site experience beneficial but not essential

Organised, detail-focused and proactive
-
Comfortable coordinating resources and working across office and site environments
