They’re looking to appoint an HV Electrical Tendering Engineer to lead the technical and commercial tendering of complex Power & Renewables works. This is a hands-on, influential role shaping winning bids rather than a back-office estimating position, with strong progression and long-term stability.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead all HV tendering activities across Power & Renewables projects

Review and interpret HV specifications, drawings, and employer’s requirements

Coordinate inputs from engineering, construction, commercial, EHS and quality teams

Prepare and manage technical submissions, clarifications, and compliant tender returns

Act as the technical interface with clients during tender and post-tender stages
-
Support the commercial team with technical input into pricing and value propositions
-
Attend and lead post-tender meetings and technical workshops
-
Manage multiple tenders concurrently while meeting strict deadlines
-
Ensure compliance with internal procedures, standards, and governance

Identify risks, opportunities, efficiencies, and improvements within tender processes
Key Requirements:

Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience

3+ years’ experience in HV tendering, pre-construction, estimating, or engineering roles

Strong experience in High Voltage systems (transmission, distribution, substations, renewables)

Excellent understanding of technical specifications and tender documentation

Confident communicator able to engage with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders

Strong IT skills (reports, presentations, tender portals, documentation control)

Ability to manage multiple workstreams and work on own initiative

Flexible to travel when required
