Elite Talent Hub are partnering with a tier-one international engineering contractor with a strong, long-term pipeline of high-voltage and power infrastructure projects. They’re looking to appoint an HV Electrical Tendering Engineer to lead the technical and commercial tendering of complex Power & Renewables works. This is a hands-on, influential role shaping winning bids rather than a back-office estimating position, with strong progression and long-term stability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all HV tendering activities across Power & Renewables projects

  • Review and interpret HV specifications, drawings, and employer’s requirements

  • Coordinate inputs from engineering, construction, commercial, EHS and quality teams

  • Prepare and manage technical submissions, clarifications, and compliant tender returns

  • Act as the technical interface with clients during tender and post-tender stages

  • Support the commercial team with technical input into pricing and value propositions

  • Attend and lead post-tender meetings and technical workshops

  • Manage multiple tenders concurrently while meeting strict deadlines

  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures, standards, and governance

  • Identify risks, opportunities, efficiencies, and improvements within tender processes

 

Key Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience

  • 3+ years’ experience in HV tendering, pre-construction, estimating, or engineering roles

  • Strong experience in High Voltage systems (transmission, distribution, substations, renewables)

  • Excellent understanding of technical specifications and tender documentation

  • Confident communicator able to engage with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders

  • Strong IT skills (reports, presentations, tender portals, documentation control)

  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and work on own initiative

  • Flexible to travel when required
