With a global footprint, they focus on understanding client priorities and ensuring high standards of delivery throughout each project lifecycle.
Our clients are now looking for a Commissioning Supervisor to join their projects in Dublin/Antwerp.
You will be responsible for reviewing project designs and overseeing commissioning activities on-site. Duties include maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring compliance with project procedures, and assisting in identifying and resolving commissioning-related issues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess technical drawings and oversee on-site commissioning operations.
- Maintain comprehensive site reports, testing documentation, and checklists.
- Monitor engineering tool usage and installation compliance based on established protocols.
- Witness and support test execution, encouraging teams to meet quality benchmarks.
- Help identify and address any deficiencies during the commissioning process.
- Participate in progress reviews and project meetings to assess performance.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining commissioning summary documentation.
- Coordinate and manage operational readiness reviews with technical teams.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Ensure client expectations and project criteria are consistently met.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Degree in HV Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a commissioning-related position.
- In-depth understanding of power transformer installation, assembly, and oil processing procedures. Certification in transformer installation is highly desirable.
- Strong command of relevant electrical codes, technical procedures, and commissioning standards.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing teams.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Proficient in using project reporting software.
- Willingness to travel or work on a rotation basis (20/9, 10/4, or Mon–Fri for local work).
- Must hold a valid EU passport or a full EU work permit.
