Job Title: Electrical Project Manager

Reporting to: Operations Director

Job Description: outlined below;

 

As Electrical Project Manager will have you working across large-scale electrical projects in an ever-expanding company. You will manage the end-to-end stage of the construction phase and will be responsible for planning, coordination, leading and controlling of all aspects of the project. You will be the clientsmain point of contact and be responsible for building positive relationships with them.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of constructions stage of assigned projects from start to finish.
  • Ownership of Pre-Start Meetings to ensure Project Manager has completed a thorough review of the Tender stage and has a complete understanding of the project requirements.
  • Liaise with the Purchasing Manager to ensure all Project procurement needs have been satisfied and that procurement schedule has been agreed.
  • Assign site personal to project and managing resourcing plan.
  • Main point of contact for all clients queries, must maintain a good relationship with the Client.
  • Ensure all Project EH&S and Quality requirement are met drafting of RAMS, Reviewing H&S plans, Quality plans etc. Ensure compliance with programme and that project is delivered with the highest level of quality.
  • Uphold the highest levels of quality in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  • Ensure Project is completed within budget and provide regular update to Commercial Manager on progress vs budget targets.
  • Agree variations with clients and liaise to QS for costing.
  • Ensure all testing and commissioning is completed.
  • Provide clients with walkthrough of completed projects and provide handover documents.
  • Maintain awareness of new regulations and complete any require training.
  • Keep up to date with any industry innovation/new products and attend supplier presentations.
  • You may be asked to travel to different sites as necessary.

 

Requirements:

  • 3rd level qualification in Electrical Engineering or Trade background.
  • Ideally 5+ years’ experience in similar role.
  • Previous experience in PSCS role.
  • Have commercial knowledge and an ability to estimate.
  • Ability to plan and manage programme.
  • Excelling communication and Negotiating skills.
  • Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to motivate your team.
  • Eligible to work in Ireland.
  • Full clean driving licence.
