Our client currently has an Internal Sales Representative role based in their Cork branch.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries and ensure orders are processed efficiently, in line with company standards.
  • Present, promote, and sell products to existing and prospective customers, supporting long-term customer loyalty.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, client interactions, and other relevant activities.
  • Collaborate with external sales representatives to ensure seamless customer service and order processing.
  • Develop customer leads through cold calling and follow up on potential new customers.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with suppliers to ensure timely product delivery.
  • Meet agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes while promoting the companys products.

 

Key Criteria:

  • Proven sales experience, ideally within the construction or building materials sector.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office and computerized accounting systems.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
