Position: Project Financial Controller

Location: Clare

 

Role responsibilities:

  • Conduct a detailed monthly review of project costs to ensure they are accurately captured against the correct cost orders and general ledger accounts.
  • Report on costs to date for the respective work packages, explaining any positive or negative variances compared to contract pricing and highlighting anticipated overruns.
  • Ensure all costs are accrued at each period end, regardless of their invoice status to the customer.
  • Manage all contributors to these processes to ensure timely preparation and submission of inputs.
  • Review and challenge these inputs and present the P&L to the Business Unit.

 

Qualifications and requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years qualification as an ACA, CIMA, or ACCA.
  • Essential experience with SAP; experience with S/4 HANA is highly desirable.
  • Experience with IBM Cognos Controller, IBM Cognos PAX, and Oracle Business Intelligence is desirable.
  • Essential experience in medium to large construction projects or other multi-year, high-value projects.
  • Proficient in project cost management and reporting.
