Job Description:
We are recruiting a Health & Safety Manager to join a leading organisation within the wholesale and distribution sector.
The role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive Health & Safety function across multiple sites.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and implement H&S policies and procedures
Lead ISO 45001 aligned strategy
Conduct risk assessments
Perform audits and inspections
Investigate incidents
Deliver training programmes
Maintain documentation and reporting systems
Liaise with authorities and stakeholders
Promote safety culture
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ experience
Experience in logistics, manufacturing, or distribution
Health & Safety qualification (IOSH, NEBOSH, etc.)
Knowledge of Irish legislation
ISO 45001 experience
Strong communication skills
Full driving licence
Desirable:
Multi-site experience
Warehouse/transport safety knowledge
Additional certifications
