Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their growing project delivery team. This role carries full responsibility for the successful delivery of large-scale electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will lead project teams across all phases of delivery, from early concept and design development through to construction, commissioning, and final handover. This position suits a commercially aware, technically strong Electrical Project Manager who can coordinate people, processes, and resources while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of electrical works from concept stage through to project completion

  • Develop detailed project plans, programmes, and execution strategies

  • Coordinate and manage daily activities of the project team and subcontractors

  • Manage design development, value engineering, and pre- and post-contract activities

  • Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor packages

  • Monitor and control project resources, labour, and material usage

  • Ensure weekly reporting, scheduling updates, and programme tracking are completed

  • Chair and attend project meetings with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders

  • Maintain financial oversight, cost control, and budget management

  • Implement and enforce company Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures on site

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Relevant third-level qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline

  • Ideally 5+ years’ experience in a project management role within the electrical industry

  • Strong understanding of financial management, cost control, and budgeting

  • High level of IT proficiency, with the ability to generate detailed reports and documentation

  • Strong awareness of Health, Safety, and Environmental best practices

  • Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills
